Already Dead

So, in reality, death is totally rad. I mean, forget it. It’s like bungie-jumping through pure intelligence as the source of light and time. But it’s dangerous, see, because, one little slip up, and blip… you slip down into life. Now, the fact is, there’s nothing to fear except life itself, because during life, you can imagine that the ‘self’ you slipped on is your only mode of preservation, but it’s practically the opposite. It’s a ‘locally excited state’ of death, so, essentially, you become ‘the point version’ of a death-wave. This would be great, except that, from that position, there’s feedback against Origin, and this becomes ‘the fear of death’.

It’s hilarious, everyone is already dead, which means ‘already being born in billions of new ways’, and the only actual problem is birth — because if you experience that, you’ll spend a lot of that time worrying about something that cannot happen. Something that’s the opposite of the accident that organized you locally.

So, once you are born, and emerge from childhood (we have to talk about this), you’re actually afraid of nothing more than total liberation from the idea that your particular local self is you. This is like being afraid that if you lose your car, you will disappear forever … or just become a parking lot or something.

Of course, that local self is you in many crucial senses, but not in the ways it seems… and not in ways that can ‘just disappear’ (except in specific frameworks). There’s no reason to seek death once incarnate; but the fear of it is a fiction — what is on the other side of that is something far better than mere birth, and generally, over there… ‘birth’ is not something you are interested in, but more of an accident you would prefer to avoid during ‘travel-relation’.

From over there, birth is like a car accident that results in a brief, but possibly confusing dream. We call those dreams ‘a life’. You do not worry about a car accident coming to an end, right? Same essential thing down here. From up there? This is a long accident that will have a most astonishing resolution.

Don’t worry about it.

It is and shall be true, exquisite, and absolutely astonishing in its results.
